INS Chennai commanded by Captai Raghu Nair, which was involved in a successful operation of rescuing a hijacked ship (MV Lila Norfolk) off Somalia coast berthed at Chennai Port Trust on 16 Feb 2024. The ship was enroute to Visakhapatnam to participate in the multinational excercise "MILAN 2024".
