View Event DetailsEastern Fleet Ships with Rear Admiral Alok Ananda, FOCEF flying his flag, visited Chennai. The event coordinated by HQ, TN&P area had four ships (Ranvir, Satpura, Himgiri and Udaygiri) open to school children and NCC cadets. Veterans were also invited to visit the ship. A large section of the veterans and their families visited the ship in the morning session. A station reception was held later in the evening at NOM and was attended by a large number of NFCC veterans.

The President highlighted the activities and initiatives undertaken during the year. The audited accounts of the previous year were tabled and approved by the AGM. The officers who were recently promoted to the rank of Capt with ante-dated seniority based on the recent government orders were presented the Captains stripes by Cmde Premkumar, the senior-most veteran present. Thereafter, the election for the new Managing Committee was held. This was followed by PLD and Lunch.
