Interaction with COP

An interaction with Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, COP was held on Friday, 05 Apr 24 at 1710 hrs at the AV complex, INS Adyar. Cmde Sanga, Cmde Ex-servicemen Affairs accompanied COP for meeting the veterans.

7 NFCC members and about 19 VSF members attended. COP briefed all about the latest operational achievements, welfare measures and infrastructure developments including new shipconstruction projects being progressed by the Indian Navy. He explained in detail on the progress of SPARSH related issues and efforts being taken to remedy them. He highlighted that the team at IHQ,MoD(Navy) and NAVPEN were working round the clock in co-ordination with PCDA(Pensions) to resolve the challenges being faced by veterans. 

There were a few specific issues raised by the veterans assembled for meeting. Cmde Sanga tried to resolve the problems by speaking to his officers at IHQ, MoD(Navy).
