FOTNA interacts with Veterans on 10 Jan 2026

Rear Admiral Satish Shenai, NM, FOTNA hosted the NFCC veterans for an interaction and dinner. Mrs Nilima Shenai, President NWWA, TN&P, CSO to FOTNA, CO, INS Adyar and other officers of INS Adyar were present. The venue for the event was the drill shed INS Adyar, due to inclement weather. A large number of veterans from Chennai attended and highly appreciated the arrangements made for the veterans. FOTNA passionately spoke about the importance of meeting veterans and to strengthen the bonds of friendship. He also expressed his gratitude to the veterans and their spouses for being present for all the functions held under the aegis of HQ, T & P. He confirmed that a proper ceremonial send off will be accorded to veterans on their final journey by the organisation. Cmde K Venkatesh, President, NFCC spoke of the importance that the FOTNA and his team have given to the veterans and thanked them for considering the veterans as a part of the Naval community. Cmde Venkatesh also highlighted the impressive work done by FOTNA and his team in the last one and half year to upgrade facilities in the unit run canteen.
